On 9/16/2019, at approximately 0945 hours, a border patrol agent was on a horse working traffic when the agent spotted a group running. The agent was riding to the area when the horse started bucking. The agent was attempting to gain control of the horse as it headed straight for a fence and into a metal H-brace. The agent's right leg struck the H-brace, suffering a broken femur.
